Wayne'r always likes to start it out simple and for your hair the oil treatment is one of the easiest.

If you are looking to buy an oil for your hair I would pick Rose Hip Seed oil. This oil is good for hair that has become damaged or hair that has lost it's luster. With a small amount in the palms of your hand massage through and through your hair and then style as usual.

Another oil that you may already have if you make your own skin care products is Jojoba oil. Now this will be good for your dry hair. Take time to massage this oil all the way down to your scalp. Leave it in for an hour to two. Then wash it out.

The Hairoine Presents: A brief guide to oils for healthier hair.

Now this recipe is simple but it works the best if you have all night, the down side no pun intended . You will use two oils olive and two drops of an essential oil of your choice. First Heat the two oils and massage through out your hair, then cover your hair with a shower cap. This works best if you keep it on all night long.

Now these homemade hair recipes will turn up the heat. The Hot Oil Treatment
This hair oil recipe will last up to a year.

1/2 cup sweet almond oil
1/4 cup apricot kernel oil
1/4 cup olive oil

Wash your hair and towel dry. Warm a small amount of the oil mixture in the micro. Apply the oil to your hair. Take your time and comb it through the hair making sure that it is well coated. Cover the hair with a shower cap. Leave it in for 20 to 25 minutes. Then wash it out with a gentle shampoo.

You can use Sage and Rum to get rid of your gray hair. This is a gentle way over time to color gray hair. You will need :
4 tablespoons of dried sage
1 pint of boiling water
4 teaspoons of rum
1 ounce glycerin
A few drops of vitamin E

Bring 1 pint of water to boil, then take pot off of burner and put sage into the hot water. Let steep for 2 hours. Strain out the sage into a jar and then add the rum, glycerin, and vitamin E to the water. Do not forget to put a label on the jar. Using a cotton pad each day rub the darkener into your scalp. This way over time you can control how much of your gray you will get rid of.
